About Temoor Ahmad

Temoor Ahmad, architect, is an Associate at Grimshaw where he specializes in large-scale transport infrastructure projects and the associated potential for over-site development and place making. High-profile examples of key roles particularly focused around London-based railway stations are Paddington Crossrail, King’s Cross Station, Euston HS2 and Waterloo Station.

He has been developing his expertise since 1996 after graduating from the world-renowned Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow, Scotland. Since qualifying, he has worked in the UK, China, the UAE and Spain over a number of different sectors. He considers place-making and urban density to be vital aspects in the ongoing development of tall-building design. About Temoor Ahmad

Temoor Ahmad, architect, is an Associate at Grimshaw where he specializes in large-scale transport infrastructure projects and the associated potential for over-site development and place making. High-profile examples of key roles particularly focused around London-based railway stations are Paddington Crossrail, King’s Cross Station, Euston HS2 and Waterloo Station.

He has been developing his expertise since 1996 after graduating from the world-renowned Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow, Scotland. Since qualifying, he has worked in the UK, China, the UAE and Spain over a number of different sectors. He considers place-making and urban density to be vital aspects in the ongoing development of tall-building design. In addition to this, Temoor has a growing interest in the relationship the construction industry has with the market’s tall building demand and has begun to develop a philosophy on how this can be optimized.

Temoor has been involved in numerous public events in a variety of roles ranging from critic to speaker. Notably, he was part of an RIBA-USA delegation speaking in Beijing focused on diversity within cities, and part of a panel debate titled “Investing in Density” as part of the Urban Land Institute’s real estate trends conference in 2015.
