Burhani Design along with FXFowle, Fredrick Schwartz Architects and landscape firm Andropogon collaborated on an international design competition that was recently selected as the winning team to design the University Campus of Al Jamea tus Saifiyah in Nairobi, Kenya. The team met the objectives of creating a master plan and buildings which reflect the Fatemi culture while integrating it with the 21st century processes and technologies. It met all the objectives in a sustainable and cost effective manner. The project is currently under construction.
Burhani Design recently expanded their practice in Mumbai, and are consulting architects for several high-rise buildings and urban design projects. While continuing practice in India, their vision is to continue to spread further education and awareness to the high-rise building sector and related urban issues.
