About

Michael Palmer is an architect and principal with Perkins&Will in Chicago. He is widely recognized for his expertise in managing the design of large, complex projects, including office, mixed-use and educational facilities. Palmer’s internationally-renowned projects include three towers in the King Abdullah Financial District and the all-women Princess Nora University, both in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Other completed projects include Chicago’s Block 37 office tower and a high-rise high school. He is currently working on a new 385-meter office-hotel tower in Cairo, and two new towers in Beirut. He has degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and University of Notre Dame.
