BA in Architecture, Columbia University, New York, 1986; MArch, Columbia University, New York, 1989; Ph.D. Candidate, University of Melbourne, Victoria, 1998/2001

Jose has a strong background and international record of achievement in a wide range of Major Architecture Projects and Urban Interventions. Jose specializes in commercial and institutional buildings, urban design, major retail, educational and public infrastructure projects. In his role he is responsible for all aspects of the design process and design development fulfilling the project architects role & project creative director on major public and private (PPP) sector projects.

Jose currently serves as an associate professor at Melbourne University, and has served at a number of other universities over the years.

Mr. Alfano has participated in a series of projects, including the Footscray CAA Area master plan, Victoria; the Dubai Precious Metals and Committees Exchange, Dubai; the Melbourne Showgrounds Redevlopment, Melbourne; Jumierah Horizon, Dubai; the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology master plan, Melbourne; and the North Asia Logistic Centre, Quingdau.
