Girish Dravid has been involved in propagating CTBUH objectives in India since 2013. The India Chapter was officially established in September 2015. Currently, he is the Chairman of CTBUH India.

Girish is Director at Sterling Engineering Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd., a Structural Engineering organization in the forefront in India. The company provides consultancy services in all major cities in India and countries such as UAE, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and Muscat.

Having witnessed the growth of Tall Buildings in India which was concomitant to his professional career, Girish is passionate about the subject. Being a resident of Mumbai, the home to the very early and now having the maximum number of high rise buildings in the country, he also understands the social, cultural, economic, and developmental problems that are associated with the high density development in a 400 year old…
