About

Stefanie studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart, Germany and the University of Melbourne, Australia. After her diploma, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Lightweight Structures and Conceptual Design (ILEK), where she defended her doctoral thesis on resource consumption of urban structures in 2020. Since 2019, she has also worked at Werner Sobek as an architect and director for sustainability strategies, with an emphasis on embodied emissions and resource consumption. In 2021, she became a DGNB Consultant and lecturer at the University of Tübingen. She is currently head of Werner Sobek’s new office in Copenhagen.
