About Ronald Steinvorth

Mr. Steinvorth is the President of IECA INTERNACIONAL, a Costa Rican firm specialized in Structural and Earthquake Engineering, leader in the country and in the Central America area. The firm is headed by four partners and has a team of 40 people, among engineers, draftsmen and administratives.

Mr. Steinvorth got the degree of Civil Engineer in the University of Costa Rica in 1973, and the degree of Master of Science in Structural Engineering in Stanford University, USA, in 1979. He also took a postgraduate course in 1986, at the Free University of Brussel.

He is member of the Permanent Committee of the Costa Rican Seismic Code and has been director of the “Costa Rica Chamber of Construction” and of the “Costa Rican Chamber of Consultants in Architecture and Engineering”.
