Miguel Castro is a Mechanical Engineer who joined Schindler in 2012 and soon started to gain interest in the use of BIM in the Vertical Transportation industry. Today he develops and supports the adoption of BIM for Schindler globally. He holds a MSc in Building Information Management from Middlesex University, London. His Master Thesis was based on the utilization of IoT and Big Data to remotely monitor building systems and analyze sensor data to enhance manufacturing, maintenance, and reliability of building systems.
