Maurice is the Leading Professional for Structural Design and Senior Consultant Advanced Technology & Research at Royal HaskoningDHV. In those roles he combines the design of complex projects with research and advanced analysis methods and simulations. This allows for new developments, techniques and innovations to be implemented in projects. Maurice is active nationally and internationally. Many of his projects concern buildings in an inner city environment, underground and above ground. Examples are the Tree House tower, Markthal, Blaak 31 and De Karel Doorman in Rotterdam and the design of the Viet Com Bank tower in Ho Chi Minh city.

Maurice is active in the development of standards and codes as Chair of the Dutch structural Eurocode committee on Principles, Requirements & Actions (EC0 and EC1) and as member of the Dutch Working Group on Earthquakes for the development of the Dutch seismic…
