Kentaro Furuya is General Manager of the International Business Planning Department at Mitsubishi Jisho Design Inc. After obtaining a Master of Architecture degree from Washington University in St. Louis, he worked for HOK in San Francisco and Seattle, subsequently joining Mitsubishi Jisho Design Inc. in 2004. As an architect, he has worked on healthcare, senior living and office projects in the United States and Japan. Between 2015 and 2018, he stationed in Singapore to help the establishment of Mitsubishi Jisho Design Asia, enabling him to participate in various types of projects throughout Southeast Asia, from small refurbishments to large scale masterplan.
