About George Argyrou

George Argyrou and his brother Michael founded Hickory Group in Melbourne in 1991, which has become one of the world leaders in innovative construction practices, particularly in the area of prefabrication for high-rise tower projects.

From Sync bathrooms pods to the Hickory Building Systems (HBS) construction method, George has led the creation of a new construction methodology that is setting new standards in construction speed, safety, sustainability and architectural flexibility.

George is a champion of innovation; focused on sourcing the newest materials and methods from around the world and establishing Hickory’s own prefabricated building systems.
