As a Net Zero Lead, Diego Padilla-Philips works towards creating zero carbon buildings to address the climate emergency. This includes the development of strategy for WSP’s Property and Buildings business to drive emissions down, in a multidisciplinary and holistically way, setting WSP’s commitment to halve carbon emissions from all designs by 2030. His role includes strategy, delivery, L&D, Innovation, R&D, and BD and is responsible for some of the new carbon tools being developed. He manages a network of 30+ Net Zero champions across all offices and disciplines in the UK, as well as internationally to support other regions in developing their strategies.
