In 2013, he received his Master’s Degree, the Alpha Rho Chi medal for leadership and service, and presented his thesis entitled, “A Prototype for a Tower of Unlimited Height”—a three-part proposition combining ideas of structural ingenuity, social integration and diversity, and expansive programming through apertures allowing natural light deep within the tower’s sculptural twisting form.

With a role on the 2016 First-Round Jurors for CTBUH’s International Student Tall Building Design Competition, Dave hopes to help propel ideas of urban propositions placing social considerations and improved quality of life at the forefront of towers’ designs, as they reach higher into the sky.
