Christina Eisenbarth graduated with distinction in architecture and urban planning at the University of Stuttgart. During her studies, she had already been focusing on the development of architectural adaptation strategies to global climatic challenges. Since 2017, she has held a position as research associate at the ILEK of the University of Stuttgart. Her research and teaching activities are dedicated to the development of innovative architectural adaptation strategies with a focus on lightweight façade systems based on textiles and films. Since 2020, she has been leading the façade planning for the D1244 demonstrator high-rise building, the world's first adaptive high-rise building.
